Ever since I heard this song it gave me a melancholy memory of my dad when he was in a nursing home and was asked to come to afternoon service to complete a minyan. He would even when he was feeling too tired and I would go with him even though I couldn’t count in the minyan being a woman. I hope that the Maccabeats would include this song in their program and come back here in Rochester New York. I wouldn’t have to be in January like the last time which presented weather challenges, but hopefully next year. Thank you for this opportunity to comment,

Do you guys always write your own lyrics, or do you sometimes get parodies (for lack of a better word, as they don’t make fun of the original song per se; just different lyrics) from outside sources?
