Book the group now!You knew we love to sing, but did you know we could also cook? We combine our passions for Jewish food and Jewish pop-parody music in this year’s Hanukkah offering, “Latke Recipe.”
A parody of Walk the Moon’s infectious summer hit “Shut Up and Dance,” our sixth Hanukkah video leads the viewer through the steps of making delicious, crispy potato pancakes.
The traditional explanation for the custom of preparing latkes on Hanukkah is that we eat an oil-heavy food to celebrate the “single jar” of undefiled oil “that burned for eight days” after the Maccabees retook the Temple.
We celebrate this miracle and the joys of spending the holiday with loved ones in “Latke Recipe.”
Enjoy latkes responsibly!

Put Latke Recipe on iTunes
How can I buy a download of the Latke Recipe song? I couldn’t find it on iTunes or CD Baby.
Your songs are incredible, and my students love them. It would be AMAZING if you could add captions for your Deaf & Hard of Hearing audience to enjoy.
Please come to Cleveland, Ohio and make my year… Six13 came, and I’d really like to have the 2 best music groups come to my city in the same year!
You forgot to say it’s necessary to squeeze the potato because it secretes fluid, otherwise it interferes with the preparation and the latkes might fall apart …;)
I am a preschool teacher at a Synagogue school and I want to teach “Latke Recipe” to my class of 3 year olds for our Hanukkah show. I can’t find a downloadable version anywhere. I looked on itunes and it doesn’t come up. How can I buy a download of Latke Recipe or a cd album to buy that contains the song? Thanks!

Hello, I love your parodies. I would like to have the lyrics to this song (The Latke Song) so that I can have my kids sing it in their holiday program this year. I’m looking online, but I cannot find it and I do not want to just do it all by ear in fear of messing up an important lyric. I am not Jewish, but I think this will be a fun song my students can sing to help represent that community in our school. I need the lyrics by 11/26/17 because the next day is when we begin learning the songs for 2 weeks before our show. Thank you.
Nevermind…I figured it out. And of course, I meant to put the “Latke Recipe”, not the “Latke Song.” Thank you….keep on singing. You all sound great!
Where could I get the song called Latke Recipe in MP3 if it exist in 320 Bit Rate?
